        Fit Guide

        Find your fit

Frame fit is more than a single measurement. Lens width, lens height, bridge width, temple length, and the overall proportions of the frame work together to determine how eyewear sits, feels, and looks on the face.

        Our fit classifications

Fit labels are comparative guidance within the YARDĒN RÄSA collection. Always use the individual product measurements on the product page when comparing a frame to a pair you already own.

        Narrow Fit

Compact overall proportions intended for customers who prefer a closer, more contained fit.

        Medium Fit

Balanced proportions designed to sit comfortably across a broad range of average-width faces.

        Wide Fit

More generous overall proportions for customers who need additional width or prefer a more substantial frame presence.

        How to read frame measurements

Each product page lists the measurements that define that frame. Use them together rather than judging fit from lens width alone.

Lens width The horizontal width of one lens at its widest point.
Lens height The vertical height of one lens at its tallest point.
Bridge width The distance between the lenses across the bridge area.
Temple length The length of the temple from hinge toward the ear.

Illustration only. Refer to each product page for verified frame measurements.

Compare a frame you already own

        1. Start with a comfortable pair. Choose eyewear you already own that sits well without pinching, sliding excessively, or feeling visually too small.
        2. Find its measurements. Measurements are often printed inside the temple. If they are unavailable, measure the frame carefully with a millimeter ruler.
        3. Compare the complete set. Look at lens width, lens height, bridge width, and temple length together. Similar lens widths can still produce very different fits when the other dimensions change.
        4. Use the product fit classification. Narrow, Medium, and Wide Fit provide a second layer of guidance when comparing proportions across the collection.

What a good fit should feel like

A well-fitting frame should feel secure without requiring excessive pressure at the temples or nose. The frame should remain reasonably stable during normal movement and should not rely on force to stay in position.

How a frame looks is also part of fit. Two frames can share similar measurements while creating different visual proportions because of lens shape, lens height, bridge placement, and overall geometry.

When to consider a wider frame

If eyewear frequently feels tight at the temples, looks undersized across the face, or requires the temples to flare noticeably outward, a wider frame may provide a better starting point.

Our Wide Fit classification identifies frames with more generous overall proportions. Individual measurements remain the final reference.

Fit Proof on each product page

Product pages may include a Fit Proof section with verified measurements, fit classification, on-face imagery, and frame-specific diagrams. This is the product-level source of truth for how an individual frame is sized.

General guidance on this page does not replace the verified measurements shown on the individual product page.

        Fit and adjustments

Minor fit adjustments can change how eyewear sits on the nose and around the ears. If a frame feels uncomfortable or becomes loose over time, contact Client Services before attempting substantial adjustments yourself.

Do not reshape, bend, heat, or modify the frame in a way that could damage the eyewear or its mounting hardware.

        Still unsure?

If you are deciding between frames, send Client Services the measurements of a pair that already fits you well. We can help you compare those dimensions with the verified measurements listed on YARDĒN RÄSA product pages.
